The tray sitting in the counter is not something a customer will praise out loud, but the moment its paint chips or its velvet scratches, she walks. The TP27 jewelry tray pairs a white piano lacquer frame with a black velvet surface. The finish is not ordinary spray paint; it is polyurethane high-gloss lacquer applied in several flood coats and then polished, reaching a hardness above 2H so a fingernail leaves no mark. Yet the lacquer fears two things. One is dust: the panel must be cleaned to no visible particles before flooding, because a single grain trapped in the coat becomes a tiny bump once it cures. The other is paint build-up at edges, where the frame corners need a hand touch-up and sanding the machine cannot reach.
The black velvet slots are applied afterwards, not printed on. The cloth gets a thin layer of adhesive, is laid flat, then pressed into the routed grooves, and the edges are rolled tight so the pile will not lift at the rim of a ring slot. The slots are die-cut to within half a millimetre, and every tray in a batch has to match, or the display looks loose on one side and tight on the other and the customer's hand scatters everything. The division of labour is clear: a wide cell holds a bangle, a narrow groove seats a ring, a round hole takes a stud, and one tray lays out a whole set in order.
We weighted the base. A plain tray is feather-light and the neighbour piece wobbles every time one item is lifted. TP27 has a thin steel plate pressed into the bottom, so it sits still on the surface. The tray clips into the display stand as a separate piece rather than being glued down, so it pulls out on its own to be cleaned, and velvet fingerprints are wiped one direction with a cloth, never in circles.
White lacquer fears yellowing. A counter by the window takes strong UV, and within two or three months the surface drifts to cream, so we suggest rotating this kind of tray every six months, or adding an anti-UV clear coat. When you order, ask the hardness and whether it is UV-stable; the price gap is small and the later trouble is much less. The reason we insist on flooded polyurethane rather than a quick spray is the depth of gloss: a spray dries flat and dead within half a year under counter light, while a flooded coat keeps its depth. TP27 suits rings and studs and works as the zoning for a hero position in a high-end counter, cleaner than laying out full boxes.
We have been burned. Once a large order switched to a cheaper lacquer to trim cost, and within three months the counter finish peeled in sheets; the brand returned the lot and the loss dwarfed the saving. Put the lacquer brand and hardness in the contract, not in a verbal promise. Stacking for transport is its own discipline: velvet faces never sit against velvet, so we slip a sheet of copy paper between trays, or the lower lacquer gets scored by the upper pile.
Before shipping we check three things: a cross-cut test on the lacquer for adhesion, a tape pull on the velvet for shedding, and a standard fitting into each slot for tightness. If two trays in a batch show loose slots, the whole lot goes back to re-tool. Do not skip it - a box of scratched trays returned from the store costs more than the inspection you saved.

黑绒卡位是后贴的，不是印上去的花纹。绒布先刷一层薄胶铺平，再压进格位凹槽，边缘用滚轮擀实，这样绒面不会在戒指卡位边上翘角。格位是模切出来的，公差控制在半毫米内，同一批托盘的格子大小要一致，不然陈列时这边松那边紧，客人手一拨就乱。多格位分工很清楚：宽格放手镯，窄槽卡戒指，圆孔插耳钉，一条托盘把一套首饰排明白。
底板我们加了配重，普通的托盘轻飘飘，客人拿一件邻位跟着晃。TP27底里压了块薄铁片，分量压住了，台面稳。托盘是分体卡进展示架的，不是粘死，脏了能单独抽出来擦，绒面沾了指纹用绒布顺一个方向拭，别打圈。
白漆最怕黄。靠窗的柜台紫外线强，两三个月漆面就泛米黄，所以这类托盘我们建议半年轮一批，或者加一层抗UV清漆。定做时记得问清漆的硬度和是否过UV，价格差不了多少，后期少很多麻烦。有客户图省事要拿普通喷漆代替聚氨酯，我们一般不接——喷漆半年就失光，柜台一摆高低立见。还有人要求绒面卡位不做无纺打底直接糊，我们也不让，省那道工序，三个月后绒边必翘。TP27适配戒指、耳饰这类小件，放在高端专柜做主推位的分区，比整盒摆出来清爽。
也翻过车。一次大单为了压成本换了便宜漆，结果柜台用了三个月整片起皮，品牌方退回来重做，亏的远不止那点差价。所以定做包装，漆的牌子和硬度要写进合同，别口头说。运输叠放也讲究，绒面那面不能压绒面，出厂时每片中间垫一张拷贝纸，不然下层的漆面被上层的绒磨出道子。
出厂前我们抽检三样：漆面用百格刀划了看掉不掉漆，绒面用胶带粘一下看掉不掉绒，卡位用标准件试插看松紧。一批里只要有两件卡位偏松，整批退回重调模。别省这道，门店退回来一盒划花的托盘，比你省的那点检验费贵。
