A wall-hung display cabinet is harder to get right than a floor case. Take our wall cabinet with the matte-white baked-enamel body and champagne-gold metal edging: the top level is a modular magnetic wall for earrings and rings, the lower open tray holds bracelets and sets, and hidden lighting runs inside. It looks composed; built carelessly, it is a list of failures.
The body is baked enamel, and matte white is the least forgiving finish. Four coats, each sanded, or the counter lights pick up a surface like orange peel. The gold edging is electrophoretic metal, and the seam where it meets the body has to be sealed, because moisture sneaks in and within half a year the edge blisters and darkens. Overseas buyers watch that seam closely — a container of sea air finds any unsealed gap and writes off the unit.
The glass is the quiet hero, and anti-glare is the point. Plain clear glass throws a white band of the spotlight straight at the customer; low-reflection glass, etched on the surface, drops that reflection so the piece reads even at an angle. Thickness matters too: too thin and it rattles, too thick and it loads the frame, so a hard low-iron pane is the usual call — it transmits more light and keeps gold from looking grey.
The hidden light is a linear LED, fixed in color temperature so it does not drift yellow with age. The strip sits in a recess in the top panel and lights the product, not the staff's eyes; an unshielded row leaves a halo in front of anyone standing there. Terminals need waterproofing, because the case condenses now and then and a short kills the whole row, which means opening the cabinet to fix. Neutral-warm is the safe temperature: gold looks rich, platinum looks bright. Skip cold white — it makes gold read like silver.
The magnetic wall up top is modular; earring and ring panels pull off and relocate. Use a thick magnetic sheet, because a thin one will not hold a metal earring board and it drops at a touch. The base carries weight so the hung cabinet does not tip forward when fully loaded, and lighting zones are controllable from the back so a dimmer level is a setting, not a ladder and a new bulb. A frequent miss is mixing LED batches in one cabinet, so half the wall reads warmer than the other; buy the strip as one batch and keep the label.
Fixing it to the wall is its own job. Two anchors are not enough; whether the wall is drywall or brick changes everything, and a load-bearing rail behind, or support legs below, keeps a loaded row from slowly pulling away. Maintenance is dull but skipped: wipe glass with a lint-free microfibre, never tissue that sheds and scars the etched layer, and dust the strip every six months or the output drops a notch. When you customize, do not chase thinness — give the body depth so pieces do not touch the glass, or a pendant smears against it the moment a customer leans in.
Shipping protects the glass with edge guards, the terminals with foam, and the gold edge with film. At the overseas warehouse, test the strip and check the glass for hairline cracks before the unit goes up, and keep a photo of the lit cabinet on file. When you specify one, ask the reflection rate, the color temperature and the magnetic load — miss any of those three and nothing downstream fixes it.

挂墙固定是另一件事。吊柜不能只靠两颗膨胀螺丝，墙体是石膏板还是实心砖差别很大，DG2 背后要预埋承重条，或者落地做支撑腿，不然装满货一整排往下拽，早晚松动。日常维护也简单却常被忽略：玻璃用不掉毛的超纤布擦，普通纸巾留屑还伤蚀刻层；灯带半年清一次灰，灰厚了照度掉一截。
定做时别光追薄，柜体深度留够，饰品才不顶玻璃。太浅的柜子，项链吊坠贴上玻璃，客人凑近就糊一片。出厂时玻璃要单独护边，灯带端子裹泡棉，香槟金包边贴保护膜；到了海外仓，拆箱先检查灯带亮不亮、玻璃有没有暗裂。挑的时候别只看外观图，问清楚反光率、色温、磁吸承重这三样，少一样后面都补不回来。
